I’m trying to enter Board of Review dates for two recent Eagle Scouts. On one of them, I was able to record the date, it enters cleanly, and shows up as “Completed”. On the other, I get an error message that says “Youth has earned subsequent rank and is ineligible for marking this rank unapproved”. I looked up that error message and it seems to be mostly associated with entering incorrect Cub Scout ranks. I was wondering what I need to do to enter the completion date.
If you provide the Scouting America Member ID for the scout in question (no names, please!), the SUAC folks may be able to look at the account to identify any issues.
Just spit balling, but does the scout by any chance already have any Eagle Palms marked complete?

The Eagle BOR date was Dec. 11, 2025. The palms show 95% progress because there are a lot of merit badges earned, but none of them appear to be marked Complete
@GeorgeHassel I would recommend that you just leave the Eagle BOR date blank, and let it come in after it’s entered by the local council.
I have reported this to the developers as something is doing a check it should not be.
I did find some duplicate account and other issues. It might work now.
I just tried now and seeing the same error message
The developers are still investigating the error but have entered the BOR date for this Scout.
