I am a Key 3 (Committee Chair) for our pack. I have full access in Scoutbook to the pack and roster, and I am able to do Quick Entry for different achievements in Scoutbook Plus. However, when I click into the achievements section for any individual scout, and that scout is opening in Scoutbook Plus, I get this error message: “Your position(s) and related permissions do not allow you to perform this action.” I am listed as a Connection with Full Control for the scout, and I am also listed as the Den Admin & Den Leader. Is something misconfigured causing the error?
When that happens, look at the dropdown in the upper right. What does it say?
@jacobfetzer - I am seeing the same error notice and my session is set to CC for the troop and crew.
The one that’s checked is Committee Chair, and then I also have a listing for Parent for my child. But I don’t have an option for Den Leader even though on the main Advancements page I’m listed as an adult leader in the den.
@RaymondWei - In being CC there really is no need to be a den admin and you can only be registered in a single position in the unit so Den Leader is not a real option.
@Stephen_Hornak - Thanks, that’s what I figured. So I don’t know why I’m seeing the error, and don’t know whether access is actually restricted or if it’s just popping up but not affecting anything.
@jacobfetzer - Just checking again as to the cause of the error and whether it affects anything. Thank you.
Does this happen for every scout? When you say “achievements section” do you mean one of the adventures? Screenshots immediately before and after the error would be helpful.
This is with every scout. Here are before (in Scoutbook) and after (when it takes you to Scoutbook Plus).

@RaymondWei have you tried a Hard Refresh (Shift + Refresh) - this issue should be fixed now
@DonovanMcNeil - I just tried a hard refresh and the error pop-up still occurs. I also did the system refresh that popped up on login.
I am getting the same thing with both of my units however it has not kept me from having full access and modifying all items that are needed. Just another annyoing glitch in the system.
