I have tried accessing Scoutbook plus through both my iPhone 16 using the web browser Google Chrome and I have tried accessing it on my Chrome Book also using Google Chrome. I can see most of my Scouts on the legacy app. According to my Scoutmaster I show up as a Den Leader and our Recruitment Coordinator. But I cannot even see my den in the Roster on Scoutbook plus and when I try to access individual scouts, it tells me 404 I don’t have permission to access that trail. I have been getting notifications that I am up for renewed on my registration, but it does not expire until December 31st and I would rather not renew early. Is this a bug in Scoutbook plus that just because I am being prompted to renew I can no longer access my den?

A major focus of the migration to Scoutbook Plus is to have positions mirror the positions shown in My.Scouting to ensure positions were reflected accurately in both platforms. The main purpose it to honor the guidance of our charter organizations and the positions they approve. Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions. Registered positions are used to provide base permissions. Some additional permissions can be added by the unit, however, there are restrictions on what can be given. So Den Leader doesn’t carry over between one and the other? I was able to use Scoutbook Plus to enter in advancements last month. This is a new issue that I just discovered trying to enter advancements as of Monday night.
@JessicaWalter- If that is your registered position yes but there would need to be other permissions needed based on the document. The key 3 need to review it and your permissions.
Okay, but last month it worked and now it doesn’t. I’m pretty sure my key three didn’t change my permissions. My Scout Master was looking over it and from his side it looks like I should have access.
@JessicaWalter- yes because the shift was made from scoutbook connections to the permission setup
@JessicaWalter you are not registered as a Den Leader - you are registered as a New Member Coordinator - your unit would need to either change your registration to DL - or give you needed permissions to accomplish the job.

If they change it, how does that affect my ability to do my New Member Coordinator duties?
@JessicaWalter they are both registered positions - you can only have one registered position in a unit. If you are registered as DL then you get certain permissions for the den you are assigned to immediately.
Your unit needs to figure out how they want to handle it.
