I (Committee Chair) am attempting to print blue cards for most scouts in my troop. An example is scout (137487781). If I select the blue card from the scouts profile, When I select print (on plain paper) I get a popup “Error printing Blue Card”. This is happening on almost all blue cards I try to print. I have attempted to remove the SM signature date, with no luck, and add it back and still no luck. Most of the merit badges entered are partials from summer camp, that were imported using the Feature extension from a tentaroo csv.
I have tried following the many threads on printing issues, but no luck on any thing I have tried.
@AndrewGoldstein - i get the same results but you may be able to print the blue cards from tentaroo
I am sure I can print the blue cards from Tentaroo, but that is only good if the scout has made no further progress since the partial from Tentaroo was recorded. Some of these blue cards are from years ago, across many scouts.
@AndrewGoldstein - can you try this again. It seemed to work for me last night
@AndrewGoldstein - have you tried the bulk blue card print from the advancement tab on the roster.
Yes. Same result for scout / merit badge combination.
@AndrewGoldstein - interesting as all of the way s to print work for me. Have you tried and incognito session ? Or a different browser.
Tried on windows and mac. Tried on Safari and Chrome. Tried different user profiles on Chrome.
The error is coming back from the server:

@AndrewGoldstein are you under the Chair Profile at the top Right?
Are you also MBC of the scouts you are trying to print BCs for when it fails?
@AndrewGoldstein - you also noted that some of the merit badges are from years ago… what version and how old.
@DonovanMcNeil I am under the Chair profile at the top right, and I am not a MBC for these blue cards.
@Stephen_Hornak for the scout noted above, Reptile and Amphibian Study (2023) entered via import from tentaroo in 2025 does print, but First Aid (2025) entered at the same time does not, Camping (2024) entered in 2024 does print, Environmental Science (2025) entered 2026 does not print, E-Prep (2026) entered 2026 does not print
I am also unable to print blue cards.

I have full permissions.
Interestingly, I can print using my MBC profile, but that only allows me to print the MBs I’m a counselor for.
I need to print cards for a court of honor.
@JohnKavanaugh1 - what are your steps in attempting to print them
It would appear my troop permissions are fouled up.
I’m currently showing as Patrol Admin with 6 aditional roles.
If I use my Crew profile that shows me correctly as the Committee Chair, I can put a Scout that is multipled and Print Blue Cards works.
Have you worked with your key 3 to clean this up? If you have children in the unit, it is importsnt to not just choose “troop permissions” but your troop leadership role vs parent.
It is alot of old SB positions you are seeing. That is another story to be cleaned up.
