I am trying to transfer an AOL scout to our troop but i am getting the following error message:
Transfer/Multiple transaction failed. Registration record 167343501 for memberId 140734885 not found
Could you help with this issue?
The Scout’s registration expired on 12/31/25 and someone opted the Scout out of renewal. A new application will be needed to join the troop.
Make sure they use the same member ID number, and don’t create a new one.

They might be able to use an online application.

I asked the dad to use our online application, but when he enters the scout’s membership ID he gets a message: that there is already an active registration.
Our records indicate you already have an active registration with Pack 0122 Avon Volunteer Fire Department. There is no need to submit another application, If you are applying for an additional position in the same organization please contact your unit leader for assistance.
At the moment, we can’t transfer him and we can’t submit a new application it seems.
I think the issue is that the Scout’s registration is expired / lapsed and in the grace period. What might work is having the pack switch the opt-out toggle, so that the dad can renew the Scout’s registration with the pack. Then wait a couple days and transfer to the troop. Alternatively, go through the local council.
@DiyanaMiriyala The dad might be able to opt the Scout back in. I am not sure if that would work or not.
