Event Email Reminders not working

^ for this one I sent an ASAP reminder and it worked

Alison - can you tell me if everyone got the ASAP reminder? I was told that only registered leaders get the ASAP reminders, not parents of scouts who aren’t registered leaders.

ASAP should be going to all invited

I just ran a test. The ASAP reminders go to adults when they are invited. However, if a scout is invited, the ASAP reminder does not go to the scout’s parent. It sounds like our options are 1. manually add each invited scout’s parent. or 2. get into the habit of always inviting all adults to every event.

ASAP notices will go to everyone invited. We always invite the adults, to ensure widest dissemination of the info. Also some of our younger (under 13) scouts don’t have a personal email address.

Thank you for responding. I did a little testing. As you said, the ASAP reminders only go to people who are specifically invited. With the regular event email reminders, inviting a scout means the parents will automatically be included. But with the ASAP reminders, I need to follow your lead and start inviting every adult to every activity. By the way, I noticed that it doesn’t matter if a scout has an email or not.

Any update on this issue? We had a calendar invite that went out this morning automatically!
