Family made a renewal error;

A family had problems renewing a youth. So, they created a brand new registration and paid for it. The Unit also renewed the scout. The council registrar is unable to do anything with the two records and unable to “undo and refund” the errant registration. I understand there is a process where a family can request a “refund” of registration fees. Where would I find that form/request mechanism? Our Council Executive says that the “parent” has to request it form “national” and the council does not have the tools.

There’s no point of direct contact between parents and national. Usually, council professional staff has to file a Member Care ticket with national to resolve such issues.

@JanellBunger-Spiecha this is a 100% Council issue to handle. They can turn in a National Membercare ticket
