Hazardous Weather Training Confirmation

I have a leader says his Hazardous Weather Training (SCO_800) was completed on 12/31/25. He has shown me a screenshot of his my.scouting.org account with it. However, he is not listed as trained and when I look up his training record, it’s not showing up on is record.

His BSA ID is: 141089114

@DarrenFerlazzo no - I would have him log into my.scouting.org where it shows it - and get the Member ID that shows for that my.scouting account. I think he has another account that I cannot immediately find

I’m having the exact same issue with one of my scouters.
His Hazardous Weather Training expired on 5/14. He took it again on 5/19 and I have the screenshots too. His BSA ID is 132870049 and no duplicates.
That’s the BSA ID missing the training and also the BSA ID is logged under when providing the screenshots.

The hazardous weather training is the worst online training I’ve ever seen in my life. I complained about it four years ago. Nothing has been updated. It doesn’t even meet basic accessibility guidelines. If the BSA cannot make a decent training then do not require it. I love everything about scouting except for the terrible apps, terrible websites, and terrible trainings. Everything seemed to work just fine when I was in scouts before the internet. Now, it literally makes me not even want to participate.

Unfortunately, the team responsible for the training system only takes bug reports/feature requests from the council professional scouters, not from the SUAC volunteers here. That leaves reporting through council the only viable method to push for changes.

I train with the National Weather Service yearly …

I’m a ham radio operator, and I never thought about getting “certified” through scouting.

@RichardAAllcorn - what certification are you talking about. Weather hazards training is required for direct contact leaders.
