I have an adult leader who has two personas in Scoutbook Plus. The leader appears on the roster twice, but with the same BSA number and same name spelling. One of those personas has Safeguarding Youth Training and registration, valid and good through 2026. The second persona is grayed and has expired registration of 31 Dec 2025 with expired YPT.
The adult leader’s expired 2025 persona is still filling the New Membership Coordinator role in Scoutbook Plus and I can’t remove it. I also can’t assign her 2026 registered and trained persona to the New Membership Coordinator role.
Any help is appreciated.
Did the user let their membership fully expire? what is the Member #?. (no names)
The Scouting America registration was renewed Dec2025 for the 2026 year and did not lapse.
She’s registered in multiple units.
The ID number is 135498544.
tks
@RichardCayemberg it is an odd situation. That person was given the New Member Coordinator position for 11/25-12/25 - just one month (Weird), but also has a new registration for other position in the unit. So the Functional roles and permissions got added to that ended registration. I think your only course of action is to have council End the NMC position totally. Or wait till 3/1 for the grace period to end
@RichardCayemberg the New Member Role - is a registered position - not a functional position. If a Committee member, you cannot be NMC. It is one or the other.
And New Member Coordinator is a specialized type of Committee Member, so it can count as one of the required positions as part of unit renewal.
All right. Thank you.
We’ll try removing all the current unit positions then adding her back solely as the NMC.
If that doesn’t work, maybe waiting unit 1 March when the grey-ghost status ages out will allow us to transfer her into the valid NMC role.
