Cannot reassign adult volunteers (remove Den Leader position)

Some registered Adult Volunteers are incorrectly listed as Den Leaders in our Pack. When I try to reassign them in scoutbook (classic), I get an error which says that I should post the problem here. I cannot see the adults at all in scoutbook plus.

@PaulettaStiessberger

First, the default roster view in SB+ is youth only click the filter icon and check adults and see if that helps.

If you still cannot reassign them to the correct positions, post their bsa member ID (no names) and we will investigate.

I only see their profile info, not their position assignments. Members 140851906 and 140831315 and were never Den Leaders and need to simply be Committee Members.

also, Member 140596084 has not been in the Pack since 2023 (moved to GSA) and 140713632 has moved countries and thus Packs (Nov 2024)

@PaulettaStiessberger
Neither was ever registered as a den leader so I have ended their Den Admin roles.

Note both have registrations expiring on Monday 3/31/25.

@PaulettaStiessberger

Since they are no longer involved with your pack, they will both drop off of your roster after the 3 month lapse period ends.

the 3month lapse period ended ages ago for 140596084 (Nov 2023) and 140713632 (Nov 2024) but they’re still on our roster

@PaulettaStiessberger

140596084 and 140713632 are both registered until 3/3/1/25. The lapse period starts 4/1/25.

140596084 should only be registered with BSA/SA Troop21. 140713632 moved to the Netherlands, so is still in TAC but their account should move to their new Pack

PS both are active with Scouting America in Transatlantic Council, but not in our Pack147. It makes sense that they’re still registered, but they shouldn’t be in our roster

PS 140713632 is now in Pack140 (the Hague)

@PaulettaStiessberger

Both are still registered in your pack with expiration dates of 3/31/25. You will need to contact your Council to resolve this.

140713632 is registered in Packs 147 and 802. 140596084 is only registered in Pack 147.

I am running into the same issue in both Scoutbook+ and legacy. Here is what I get in plus

Well, I’ve informed our Council (District Exec) and those parents but haven’t heard back from anyone! Perhaps we will when money comes up…

@PaulettaStiessberger

District exec primary job is fundraising and unit building. Contract the registrar.

For some reason I cannot look at the individual profiles of adult leaders in my troop, it pops up an error page taking me to the bug report forum. Troop 35 in DeForest, WI.

@BrianCoker - please use shift-refresh to se the adult page

how do we find out who is our registrar? We are in Transatlantic Council (Germany). Thanks

Reach out to your district executive or commissioner to find out. Failing that, email the admin and advancement emails at your council: Council Staff - Transatlantic Council.
