Hello,
We have an adult member who has transferred out the Pack. They no longer show-up in Scoutbook Plus, however, they remain in Scoutbook. How do we sync this up?

@RyanHendrickson
Post the adult’s Member ID (no names) and we will investigate.
SB User ID: 9018188

Thanks
In this case, simply go to the adult’s memberships in your pack in Scoutbook (Unit Scouter Reserve and Pack Admin) and put an end date on them.
I don’t believe I know how to do that. Can you provide some a link or how I navigate to a page where I can set an end date for a Scouter?
Thanks
@RyanHendrickson - in scoutbook go to unit > roster > then adult > current position > fill in the end date
Perfect, thanks. I’ve updated 3 adults who were in this situation and they no longer appear in Legacy Scoutbook.
One of these three adults still appears in My.Scouting.org’s Position Manager, even though he opt’d out and his membership expired on 12/31/2024. Will this cause him to be removed from there as well? I need to figure this out as well.
@RyanHendrickson that one is probably still in a membership grace period of 90 days
Thanks, I’ll keep an out out for what happens on April 1st.
On the My.Scouting.org Position Manager topic, I also have a leader “stuck” in the Key 3 Delegate position. I have selected the person and set an expiration date multiple times. I also had our Council rep do this for us back in Nov as well, but it never takes effect. Any suggestions here?
Council needs to solve the stuck Key3 or turn in a Membercare Ticket
Since they’ve already tried, it sounds like a Membercare Ticket is the way to go. If I recommend they take that action, will they know a Membercare Ticket is? Anything else I should add to the request so it gets routed to the right group to solve?
This one may be also caught in the 90 lapse period. Check on it after the 90 expires.

Can you explain a little bit what the 90 day lapse period is for?
I was under the impression this only applies to members who have specifically selected the Opt-Out for their membership and who have expired memberships.
It allows you to continue to have access to their online records while their memberships have lapsed, regardless of opt-out status.
