We want to use the forum for our troop?

They worked for our troop, for the most part, but some Scouts couldn’t get access. The BSA has sort of “thrown” them out there and if they work, they work, if they don’t, they don’t.
There is a forum inside Scoutbook?
There is a link to a discourse (?) based forum that is auto generated for each unit. So it is like the public forums, but unit specific.
A members are not consistently added - it has never worked

You actually “turn it on” from IA2 under the unit settings. I think there’s a how-to at the https://help.scoutbook.scouting.org site for this. I agree with the other commenters that it has never really worked as envisioned. I tried it with both my pack and my troop and got essentially no participation.
