Hi,
I currently have one Unit College Scouter Reserve on my charter who will not be renewing their membership. Their safeguarding youth training has expired, so they show up as an error when I try to renew the charter. How do I resolve this so that I can renew the charter before the end of December since I am assuming that they will not drop off the roster until January?
Regards,
Stepahnie
Have you tried opting them out of renewal on the Roster page at my.Scouting.org?
I have opted them out, but the lack of training still appears as an error.
I opted them out and got confirmation:
Although, I just reloaded the roster and the icon has switched back to
, so I’m not sure why the opt-out isn’t sticking.
Update: it seemed to work - after several minutes of delay. I have been able to renew the charter. Not sure why the delay between opting someone out and getting the visual feedback and removal of the charter error. Would love to request a fix for this as it is very disconcerting to not see changes real-time.
There are several systems that have to interact when changes like that are made. So, there’s bound to be some degree of delay. I’ve had things take overnight in some cases.
@StephanieGellar - that type of request would need to be routed via your council so they can enter an enhancement request. There is nobody from the my.scouting team here and they do not take feedback or issues via the forums.
