How to close my account

Hello,

I am no longer involved in Scouting and would like to close my ScoutBook account. How do I do that? I noticed another topic on here asking for something similar and someone deleted his account for him so here is the information that he gave. My UserID is 2510074 and my email starts with derek.caswell.

If posting a topic here is the only way to delete an account I would recommend putting that functionality on the site so people don’t have to search around before finally posting here.

Scoutbook accounts cannot be closed or deleted except in the rare circumstance of a test account. If you no longer wish to receive e-mail from Scoutbook, log in with your my.scouting.org ID, go to My Dashboard → Administration → My Account → E-Mail and turn the Opt Out slider on (red and to the right).
