I was unlinked from council

How do I get linked back to the correct council?

@Myjakes3527 not sure what you mean - the Scout you are parent of is in Monmouth Council - you have old closed positions in Washington Crossing

Yes I am a committee member with Monmouth Council, and my sons leader said I was removed and not rechartered with Monmouth. I dont know why I was removed

You need to talk to Unit or Council on that - you might have to re-apply

Okay, thank you for checking

I do not see you ever registered in Monmouth

I was told it was transferred 3 years ago when my son transferred

adult leaderships positions do not transfer - not even inside a council - there has to be new background checks and you have to be approved by charter

I was a committee member for 2 years with Monmouth, strange, can the 759 be removed or will it always stay with me

what the old position in pack 759? they are you history

ok, I havent been with 759 for four years now

I left 759 years ago when my son Kyle transfered over to Troop 60 in Monmouth Council. I have been a comitee member in Troop 60 for a few years and now all that history is wiped there is no record of me nor do I have access to comitee. I havent been a part of Troop 759 In years. it seems every year we go through this same thing where Scoutbook changes my Primary to 759. Is there any way to permanently remove 759 from my profile?

@Myjakes3527 - what Donovan is saying is that THERE IS NO adult registration for you EVER in monmouth so no real way you could have been a committee member

which is strange because Ive been on Comitee for a few years. Since there is no record of me being with 60 (which is strange because i was) how would I get 60 to re-add me?

Can we please remove all traces of my involvement with 759? we left 759 over 4 years ago. We are with 60 now.

@Myjakes3527 - you would need to fill out an adult application, pay the fee, complete youth protection training, submit the criminal background check, have the charter org approve then submit the package.

ok but in the meantime how can i finally remove myself from 759

@Myjakes3527 - where are you seeing that unit? Perhaps screenshots

ok here are some screenshots, looks like my membership has been being renewed for 759 as you can see the last renewal was 2023. we left 759 in late 2019. can 759 be deleted permanatly and I will do all the training and resubmitting to 60?

@Myjakes3527 You have 2 BSA member ID numbers, and they are both in council 777.

I would recommend contacting your local council and ask them to submit a help ticket on your behalf. In that help ticket, they can ask that your BSA member ID number ending in -799 be switched to your current council. It has no registrations on it, but it is connected to your son in the current council.

If that can’t be done, ask your local council to create a new BSA member ID for you. After they create the new BSA member ID number, they will need to remove your parent relationship in Registrar Tools under the old BSA member ID number (the one ending in -799) and then add your parent relationship under the new BSA member ID number.

And to register in Monmouth Council you need to complete an adult application. It sounds like the Monmouth Council unit has been considering you as part of the committee even though you have never officially been a member.
