I'm a newly registered Merit Badge Counselor - no one can find me in Scoutbook?

Hi Everyone, it’s been difficult to deduce what is going on with my Scoutbook account, but I’m a recently certified Merit Badge Counselor that for one reason or another cannot be seen by anyone in the Scoutbook system? Digitally signing blue cards is not working in the system.

I’m attaching a screen capture of the error that I see when accessing the Dashboard. Any and all help is appreciated, and if someone knows who this can be escalated to, I would also appreciate it.

@JamesBellucci First issue is your council has not assigned any Merit Badges to you - so they need to first do that

Once the correct MBs are assigned to your account, it may take a bit of time to sync across the systems (depending on how they do it). Then, you need to be connected to the scouts either by someone in their unit making the connection or by connecting yourself with information you can get from the scout/scout’s parent/SM.

ETA: Note that, if you’re already connected to the scout for some other reason (e.g. ASM, parent), you need to go into that connection and edit it to add the MBC connection. I think that the “Invite MBC to Connect” action still fails when there’s an existing connection.
