Eagle Scout applications are still been delayed because Leadership records did not exist in Scoutbook Plus (mainly due to a unit using an external system to manage all aspects of their program). The current “Import File” mechanism at Scoutbook Plus does not support bringing in Positions of Responsibility.
As the advancement chair of a large troop, asking me to manually duplicate all leadership changes every 6 months is an unnecessary administrative burden. The work to record these changes have already been made by a coordinated team of adult volunteers inside the 3rd party system.
I request that the positions of responsibility be added as a data point to be brought in the “Import File” and that the development team work with the major 3rd party systems to help them format the data in the correct manner.
