Individual Advancement Record Not Working

I’ve cleared my downloads, cleared my history and cache, and tried several different browsers trying to download the advancement report for our troop to no avail this week. I was able to download it Friday, but I’ve entered a lot of completions over the weekend and want to be able to give the boys the most up to date version at our next meeting. And it keeps bombing on me. Anybody got any idea why?

This thread is referring to exporting all advancement to a csv file. What exactly are you trying to do?

@RobinTaylor - are you talking about the advancement report at scoutbook.scouting.org from the needs purchasing report ?

Yes. The Individual Advancement Record.

I’m trying to export the Individual Advancement records for our troop so that I can give it to our boys so that they can see where they are. It’s something we do once a month to help them keep track of things completed at camps. They compare this to what they have marked completed in their books and make sure that everything that has been signed off on has been entered.

This is a known issue. We do not know when it will be fixed.

Any Scout can access to Scoutbook by logging in with their my.scouting.org account. If they don’t have an account, they can create one by following these instructions:

You could also generate Scouts BSA History Report or use Report Builder to create custom reports.

Ok. Thank you for letting me know. Hopefully they’ll get it fixed soon. I’ll just use the report that I was able to run on Friday and manually fill in any dates for the boys.

@RobinTaylor - in the end advancement is the scouts responsibility

Yes, I’m aware of that. My son is a soon to be Eagle Scout. This is just a tool we utilize to help the boys out.

I was able to do this when I selected just 5 scouts at a time rather than selecting my entire troop.
