Getting ready for our Court of Honor and went to hit “submit”. Redirected to another tab to purchase, now includes shipping and handling? I don’t want this shipped or handled because I am just trying to submit my report before going to the store myself.
Now it no longer shows the report at all AND it is not reflected in my purchase history reports that I have submitted before every Court of Honor since moving from the old IA system to Scoutbook in 2019.
@MauraHowe - is there anything in scoutbook.scouting.org in needs purchasing, approval or awarding
It sounds like you clicked send to scoutshop.org in Scoutbook

Hi, I ended up figuring it out, I believe. Nothing was intuitive. The first page when I would usually hit submit gave me the “we are in the process of mitigating the advancement report/PO process from Scoutbook to Scoutbook Plus” prompt and submit was not an option.
Followed the prompts creating a Purchased status.
The following page was where I got stalled out with “shipping & handling” because scouting.org was inexplicably involved in submitting this report. Again, all clear as mud and so far has added five more steps to something that could be done with one click before.
After poking around for some time, and searching this trouble shooting page, I ended up at an “Add or Delete” prompt which took me to the next two pages explaining that I could close the ScoutShop window. Did that and it managed to create a report back in my Troop Advancement page.
My dilemma is resolved for now.
All these extra steps and a wasted half day as a volunteer. I’m baffled that this is supposedly better than the one click to submit function we had until recently.
Yes, that was one of the headers that popped up.
@MauraHowe - the purchase order system was backed out of Internet advancement recently due to an issue. You were re-directed to classic scoutbook needs purchasing. In there you want to add to an open PO or create a new PO. Once you have a PO you want to use the Print button at the top and scroll down for the advancement report and when all purchased you click on close PO. I have been operating this way for 10 years so it is easy enough.
