Is there a reason why Unit Leaders can't approve requirements for their own kids?

I’m the skipper of a Sea Scout Ship, which is a small unit, and I’m the only one in Scoutbook Plus, but I can’t approve my kid’s requirements. Is there a toggle I have to flip somewhere, or is this by design.

And if it’s by design, can it be reverted? Because it’s a bad design.

@BrianJacobs1 yes check the profile you are under - but if you cannot approve - please give very specific directions on how you cannot approve

You can also try clearing cache and using an incognito window.
