Hello. I apologize if this question isn’t posted in the correct area. I am having an issue with changing the completion date of a merit badge. The date was entered incorrectly, but it was approved, put on a purchase order, and awarded. The parent noticed the error. I tried unapproving and un-awarding the merit badge. Then I asked the merit badge counselor to change the incorrect date, however he was not able to due to an error that popped up stating that the item was already on a purchase order. How can we fix the completion date of the merit badge? My membership # is 12364803. Thank you so much!
@KimFelix - how far off is the date
You should be able to unaward/unapprove > Save > and then just change the final date AS LONG AS non-of the requirement dates are after the Final date.
If req dates are on the later date those need to be changed.
The completion date is a year off. It currently has 2024 listed and it should be 05.05.2025
I tried that and I couldn’t change the completion date - it said the MBC had to change it. When contacting the MBC, he couldn’t change it because the MB was already on a PO. I’ve never encountered this problem before.

I found the PO and removed the item. I’m waiting to see if the MBC still gets an error, or if he’s able to update the completion date. ![]()
@KimFelix I wonder if that is a preventing error or just an information one? can it be clicked around and still saved?
