Out Scout Master and committee chair have tried all they have had available to help get this issue resolved as has our local council. As our Treasurer - Member ID 13819140 has been getting the error of “Your position(s) and related permissions do not allow you to perform this action.” when going into setting to start the Stripe set up. And when the Scoutmaster selected them as the contact for the set up - email was never received (spam filter checked).
How do we proceed with the next level of trouble shooting and our local council directed us here to the forums?
Yes we were - Sadly Treasurer couldn’t even get started in the process due to issue with access - so primary concern is getting that resolved and learning how to correct it. Wondering if we need to take her (me) out of Scoutbook and start from scratch.
@RebeccaKonen you do not have the functional role of Treasurer - you make a fake position for Legacy Scoutbook, but if your Key 3 wants you to function as treasurer they would need to give you that Functional role in my.scouting.org or Scoutbook+ Position manager.
Have been given that access and then some in the process of trying trying to resolve this issue. Has been very strange. Sat with the Scoutmaster as he gave treasurer permissions and it has me listed as treasurer for contact for stripe. Yet the system issues have been ongoing for the last several months bringing me here attempting to find next steps
Thank you, Yes this is what was done, yet it isn’t flowing through it seems. Would it be of benefit to clear my permissions and start from scratch. A Hard reset of sorts? I took over in August and there have been hiccups consistently since that time.
