Bug Fixes

  • Audit Log Report
    • An issue has been fixed where it did not honor the filter selection of a patrol. A separate issue has been fixed so it displays an empty category for unknown cases.
  • Den Chiefs
    • An issue that caused a Whoops error when assigning some Den Chiefs to a den has been fixed.
  • MB Counselor Search
    • An issue that caused the MB Counselor Search centered on the Council office even when a different zip code was entered has been fixed.
    • The distance and zip code has been removed from the search results when the zip code is omitted from the search parameters.
  • Scout Leadership
    • An issue that prevented parents from adding leadership positions for their Scouts has been fixed.
  • Send Message
    • An issue that prevented a Merit Badge Counselor from sending messages to Scouts with completed/approved/awarded Merit Badges has been fixed. MBCs can send messages to any Scout they are connected to as an MBC.

New Features

  • Exploring Awards
    • Exploring Awards are now supported by Scoutbook.
  • MB In Progress Report - MBC View
    • A new report for Merit Badge Counselors that will show the status of Scouts they are working with has been created. The report is on the MBC’s Report menu on My Dashboard. One or more Merit Badges must be selected. The default is to show status for all Scouts for the selected badge(s). An option is available to show only selected Scouts.
  • Parent Connections
    • When a parent connects to a Scout by entering the Scout’s BSA Member ID, last name and date of birth, an e-mail will now be sent to the unit’s Key 3 informing them that the connection was made.
  • RSVP Report
    • Several new sort options have been added to the RSVP report
  • Sea Scouts and Venturing Awards
    • Area and Region Leadership Awards for Sea Scouts and Venturing have been retired.
    • Territory Leadership Awards for Sea Scouts and Venturing have been added.

Removed Features

  • Google+ Links
    • The links to the defunct Google+ system have been removed from Council pages.
  • MB Counselor List Last Upload Date
    • The Last Upload Date for the Merit Badge Counselor List has been removed. Since the MB Counselor List is updated nightly when changes are made in ScoutNET, the date was no longer reliable.
