Leader can’t see their den

I may be missing something simple, again, but I have a leader that cannot see the den they are assigned to. Theycan see their family scouts but not the den to be able to manage awards, belt loops and the like. What could I be missing?

Thanks!

There are 2 primary reasons why a Den Leader might not be able to see the other Scouts in the den.

  1. The Den Leader is not connected to the other Scouts in the den in Scoutbook. A Pack Admin can use the Connections Manager to connect the Den Leader to the Scouts in the den (I would recommend Full Control permissions). A Pack Admin can also make the Den Leader a Den Admin, which has the added benefit of giving the Den Leader access to the den calendar.

  2. The Den Leader might have a duplicate account. If you could provide the leader’s BSA member number (no names please) we can take a look.

@NaomiKarrels - or they are not registered as an adult in the unit… I would work the scenarios presented by @JenniferOlinger

BSA number is 137317263
I have looked at connections and she is connected as far as I can tell. I know there was an issue with a double account but that should have been resolved already.

@NaomiKarrels Try re-setting her Den Admin role in Scoutbook. To do this a Pack Admin needs to:

  1. Go to the Pack Roster page in Scoutbook.
  2. Click on her name.
  3. Click on her Den Admin role.
  4. Make sure the box is checked next to “Position Approved”.
  5. Click Update to save.

Repeat for any other positions / roles she might have.
