One thing changing to the SB+ platform is easy to prepare for and coming soon and the process is already underway.
In Legacy, as long as you were a Registered Leader in good training/Standing you could be a leader in any unit in SB.
Moving forward, Leaders listed in Unit Rosters in SB+ will have to have official active rgistrations in the units. As Units are managed by Charter Organizations, this is to insure the units Charter Org knows who it working with their unit.
So if you have been “helping” another unit with Scoutbook or filling in as a leader - it is time to multi-register into that unit. You can do this with BeAScout website, Paper App, or Registrar can help out. Multiple registrations are paid for by your existing registration as long as your primary one is not a MBC - then the Primary would change to a unit registration and the MBC would be multiple.

If you are unsure of your official registrations in a council; go to my.scouting.org under that councils Member ID > go to My Profile > in middle of the page is a list of your registrations.
If you have multiple MIDs that are under management, you would need to do this for each one with a leader registration.
