@KarlGray - I certainly understand. @DonovanMcNeil - I was able to reproduce this in the sandbox environment.
I wonder if the fact that the venture side are considered awards rather than rank that this is in play.
At some point, not too long ago, they have been “promoted” to ranks. It looks like maybe September last year?

I suspect change of some awards to ranks was approved in August 2020 with changes to the awards webpages published in September 2020.

Extract from September 2020 FAQ:
Although the revisions to the next edition of the Guide to Advancement have not been finalized, the requirement that “all Venturing awards require the work to be done as Venturers” will be deleted and will not be in the next edition of the Guide to Advancement.
