As a new MBC, I’m trying to limit my accessibility to just my troop. Posts on this topic indicate that MBCs navigate in my.scouting to Dashboard > My Account > My Positions… MY account does not have a “My Positions” button to click, even though I’m a registered and approved MBC. So, I’m stuck. What do I do?
@AubreyBurklund well that is in Legacy Scoutbook (scoutbook.scouting.org) - but that feature is also in transition as it moves to SB+
OK- so I can see My Positions in Scoutbook, but when I click on ‘“Merit Badge Counselor” next to the green check mark shield and person icon, nothing happens. If I try to open the link in a new tab it brings up that same page- not a new page. What do I do to set my preferences?
Opens fine for me??? Looks like your registration might have some issues - you should call council
@AubreyBurklund- click on the block for the merit badge position and it should open the listing pref screen
Well I setup a 24 hour sync for the position - I think it might be in the Criminal background check window
It works now. Needed overnight to process and complete. Thx.
