Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
We had a parent move from NY area council to Greater Tampa Bay. He’s put in a leadership application but did his YPT under his old account. Council office has been unable to resolve, does he need to redo his YPT or is there a way to merge?
His existing ID that did the YPT is 137526616 and the application number is 200727193
He should e-mail a copy of his YPT certificate to the new Council. Once he gets a new BSA Member ID in the new Council, he can use Manage Member ID in my.scouting.org to set his new ID as primary and his old ID as secondary. This will make all of his old training visible to the Council.
user can log into my.scouting.org > click Menu top left > Click Manage Member ID > one of the BSA # will be there marked PRIMARY > then add the other MID (BSA #) - you want to make the one that is your unit registration PRIMARY > All training will merge to Primary
