I have full control to edit advancements as key 3. I am trying to mark MBs as awarded that have been recorded by other leaders and sometimes the registered mbc, but my name suddenly appears in “Counselor approved by -“. Since I was not the MBC for this badge, how can I remove this automatic designation.
Sounds like you are MBC for the Scout? What is the Scout BSA # and what Merit Badge?

I do not know how to setup a screen share to be honest. If this is needed to see what’s going on may I revisit this with you later today?

I will revisit this later when I can have a hand with the screen share. Until then is there any explanation for this issue- in my connection to this scout and I am checked as an adult leader, not mbc. I understand if this can only be addressed through screen share.
no it does not make sense at all - that is why I need a screen share
Until I can screen share I noticed some patterns. Scoutbook refers to me as “counselor approved by” for archery and personal management MBs consistently and these are not listed in my merit badges to counsel list on SB. This also happens for Cit in Community MB where I am a registered MBC.
