It looks like this has been a known issue. I am a MBC and am able to link to a scout and click off on the individual requirements, but cannot save nor sign off that the badge is complete. It looks like this has been reported twice so far in the past month with a comment that it is a known issue and to look for updates. As of June 15, I cannot save/sign. Are there any updates on this issue? Thanks.
I believe the issue is related to comments on the MB. Are there any comments on the one you are trying to update?
This was supposed to have been fixed on June 10. If you are still having trouble, please post the Scouting America Member ID (no names) for the Scout and the Merit Badge that is failing.
@edavignon I’m having the same problem. There are no comments on the MB, but it just spins when I try to save progress or completion. ID 14584662 Wood Carving. Thanks for your help.

I’m having the same problem… just keeps spinning. I just tried to approve on my phone and it worked, but not on my laptop.
@JenniferReierson - so it worked on your phone but not on the laptop, so i would suggest incognito and or clearing cache and cookies for scouting.org sites
Well, things are now worse. I now no longer have access to ANY scouts on SB+. The merit badges I can counsel are listed, ut when I click on the “Counseled Youth” section below, it take me to a page that says: “403 You don’t have access to this trail. Take me back to camp”. My open page that I initially tried to sign the scout off is greyed out and says “Yourh is not eligible to earn this advancement (he is) or you do not have permission to edit advancements”. The button for “assign counselor” below that alert is also greyed out. There is an alert that the “Unit Leader Signature Not Recorded in ScoutBook Plus”. Maybe that’s the issue?
I’m up to date on SYT, etc. And my badges are listed.

There is a known issue where the Counseled Scouts link is not working properly depending upon the election in the upper right.
We suggest selecting your MBC role in the upper right then using the MBC Dashboard link on the left bar to update Merit Badges

Ok, thanks for the suggestion. I am able to see the scout again. However, I still get the blue wheel of death and I am unable to complete the MB.
Someone asked earlier for the scout’s number. It’s 132592533. This is for his first aid merit badge and he completed it on the 15th.
@SuzannaMartin - what are your steps in getting to the merit badge ? Details help in trying to figure out the issue.
I am also facing same issue for multiple scouts and badges.
I just tried again and was able to sign off, backdated to the original date, I am not sure what changed. Steps were to log in to ScoutBook, go to the merit badge in question (first aid), select the scout in question, then enter the date completed. Initially, I had been checking each requirement individually and the blue box just ciricled and never completed. I tried several times later and even the yes to all would circle without completion. Just now, I tried again, and it worked. I’m not sure if someone changed the settings after I indicated the MB and scout in question above. I don’t have any other merit badges to check off currently, so cannot test anything else.
The issue was fixed yesterday. I just posted the Change Log.
