Membership Renewal Status Workflow

Does anyone know what the different renewal status states mean? The states are:

  • Initiated
  • Submitted
  • Complete

Does “Initiated” mean that someone has started the renewal and has not submitted for payment? Does “Submitted” mean that it has been put in the system WITH PAYMENT and is simply waiting for the system to refresh overnight? I have “auto approval” set for renewals.

In addition, when I renewed the charter for our two units, they were shown as complete but I did not receive any acknowledgment or receipt. Does that also happen overnight?
