Merge ScoutBook IDs within Council

My unit permissions with my NEGA BSA ID are being associated with the incorrect ScoutBook ID. The latest issue occurred with the last successful multiple registration within NEGA to a crew.

For some reason, this change generated a new ScoutBook ID and I lost my original profile history / photo / positions / etc. to both my existing troop and one of the parent/child relationships in ScoutBook. I see my name listed twice on the Troop roster but the Council registrar does not. I only have one login credential and am not able to switch between profiles.

Please merge ScoutBook ID 14258976 (the new one created in May 2025) into my original ScoutBook ID 285430.

This is the third occurrence of an issue of this nature in the past three years and prior merges were successful. Please reach out with additional questions.

OK this must have gotten buried a few days ago @Boyntono = so you have registrations in NGC and just old expired ones in AAC?

Hi Donovan, yes that’s right. My NEGA registrations are currently split between two ScoutBook profiles. I’d like the original SB ID 285430 retained

@DonovanMcNeil, thanks for your support to integrate accounts. I really needed the original SB ID preserved though as my history for the past 15 years was lost … all because I multipled to a Crew (when it was never previously an issue with multiple registrations in two councils).

It would be really helpful if National let the local council know how to resolve ScoutBook issues. I previously had a joint conference call with the registrars in two councils in the attempt to resolve. While one council registrar opened a ticket with National for support last May, the ticket remains open with no response received. There’s no apparent escalation path and the only thing local registrars are empowered to do is just open another ticket.

I’d suggest as a best practice to create a wiki page and provide a direct means to engage National for ScoutBook support (outside a public forum). Thanks for your time!

Your Scoutbook account has registered positions going back to 2012 in AAC and an Eagle from 1990 plus activities going back to 2015. Scoutbook Plus does not display previous registered positions. Is this what you believe is missing?
