When creating a report on an individual scout in report builder it would be nice to have an option to only list merit badges started and/or completed. The way it is now it lists every merit badge possible.
Have you checked out the SBSA History Report under run reports at the bottom of the profile page?
Yes, I have used that in the past but for what I was looking for it gave me more information than I wanted. I wanted an overview of all ranks, MB’s and awards with just the dates of completion. That report gives me the date of completion for every requirement for every rank.
The dumb thing is that half of what I want is in report builder where I can get abbreviated rank and award data but every possible merit badge (unless I uncheck the ones that don’t apply) and under profile report I get just completed merit badges and dates but all of the requirements for rank.
so you want to only show empty requirements for any MB with at least 1 req completed?
No, I want completed ranks with dates, next rank and percentage, completed Merit badges with dates and completed awards with dates. I would like the option for partial merit badges both with and without requirements. I do not want never started merit badges and I do not want any MB requirements (that option is already there).
Does the scout’s profile page itself have everything you are looking for?
Overall I believe that everything that I use regularly is there but I’m still playing with it. There are some little tweaks that will make it a little more user friendly but I think those can wait until the bulk of the transfer is complete.
