@VivianNichol I set a 24 hour sync for the scout - There is NO reason to go to legacy other than Payment Logs and Messaging Large Groups - it can just lead to issues like this
Hi there - new to Scoutbook, Scoutbook+ and this forum. Going through older posts/discussions though to try to learn and find answers before asking a questions.
Anyhow, I’ve noticed for a few weeks now that one of our Scouts is no longer listed on our Troop roster, both in Scoutbook (legacy…which I’m not using) and in Scoutbook+. I have no idea who to work with to help correct this.
Similarly, in Scoutbook+ when I run the Unit Roster Lite report, not all of the Youth Members or Leader Members are included on the report/PDF. This might be different than my first question above though.
Help/Guidance is appreciated. Thanks in advance for all you do…

Aw man….that’s a quick response Donovan - much thx! Here’s the kicker. He’s not in any roster….not in Scoutbook…not in Scoutbook+…so I’m unable to even get his member#. I even had the scout as a Webelos, so it’s not like he’s brand new. Thoughts? Thx!!
If the scout is currently registered with your unit, he should appear on the official roster at my.scouting, together with his Member ID. One of the Unit Key 3 (SM/CC/COR) or a Key 3 Delegate can check the roster there. If he doesn’t appear there, they could check the Record of Change report in the reports under Roster at my.scouting to see when the scout dropped:
They might also turn up in the Opted-Out report or the Non Renewed Membership report.
@JohnBorst You need one of the unit leaders to look at the Roster in my.Scouting.org. That is the official roster.

We are having great difficulty getting my son, Lake Erie Council #(removed by Moderator), to show up on the Lake Erie Council Troop 380 roster. Last year, he did a Sea Base adventure with Troop 575 in Great Trail Council, where he is registered as GTC #(removed by Moderator).
I cannot explain why on 3/1/26 my son’s LEC membership was ended. In his My.Scouting account, the Lake Erie Membership shows up as his primary affiliation, but he does not show up on our troop roster. Can someone help with this, please?

Thank you so much! I am trying to sort out a new issue: one of my scouts still has the incorrect gender in Scoutbook but it appears fine when the Council sees it in my.scouting.org . Here is the scout’s membership ID: 141346291
The Council cannot seem to see it to change anything else, after having gone in and changed what they could from female to male. This is a male child and I am not sure how he ever got marked female but it has been like that forever. You were so helpful with the other issue, I hope there is a solution. Thanks!
@MeganLeslie this is solved - you can inform council they could use VST to resolve this with one click.
Hi:) I see my scout’s icon has altered to male but it still sayd “Daughter of Vincent V.” instead of Son. Any idea why? Scout member ID 141346291.
@MeganLeslie that is a council registrar issue - the relationship is wrong. Give them a call.
