Good morning,
I’ve got multiple accounts and I’m hoping they can be squished together more then current. Scoutbook gives me a warning “another user is using the same email address…”
I use the Manage Member ID tool to swap between my ID’s to complete actions on my kids accounts.
Heart of VA council: 136789701 & 141310381
Transatlantic council: 13912026
@JasonRoma first step is to talk to HOV - they need to move all your Scouts to your registered position - 0381 - ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up the children. When they look up the children, they want to check children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that children are connected to parent with Only the correct BSA member ID number that they can log into - once that is done we can clean up the SB accounts
Thanks @DonovanMcNeil , ill shoot HOV a message
@DonovanMcNeil , HOV completed some updates to my account and moved my kids. They say everything should now be under 141310381. Do you see anything needing adjustment on your end?
@JasonRoma looks ok - I would call HOV back and tell them to take “DO NOT USE” off 136789701 - that corrupts your data for them to change your name like that
@JasonRoma They also need to fix your children’s “relationships” using Registrar Tools.
The best way is to look up each child using Registrar Tools. In the “Relationships” tab / section, they should remove you as parent under any of your secondary BSA member ID number(s). You should only be listed as parent under your primary BSA member ID number in HOV council: 141310381. This will help to prevent future issues, such as the creation of duplicate Scoutbook accounts.
Yeah I think there are some old BSA#s for kids - the most important thing is to be connected to Current registered BSA#s so you can achieve what a parent needs to do
