I cannot find any of the youth I helped get merit badges. As one example, when I click “Print Blue Cards” and select “Completed” for dates 2018 to now, I get no entries.
When I click Merit Badge In-Progress Report - MBC View for All Scouts, All parts of completion, I get an empty report.
Where is my merit badge history?
@LynnKramer1 - were you assigned to them as a merit badge counselor in scoutbook ?
It could be one of two things:
- The Scout is no longer registered. In this case, only the family has access to the Scout’s data
- The Scout is no longer connected to you as an MBC. Once the MBC connection to the Scout is broken, you can no longer see the Scout’s MB.
The BSA has stated the data belongs to the Scout, not the unit or any other leader. If you want a history of MBs you council, you need to maintain those records yourself.

One issue to keep in mind is that, if your MBD registration lapses for any reason (even accidentally being dropped during a MBC list update), you will automatically lose those MBC-to-scout connections.
