I was curious what the Application Manager / New Lead “Send Application” email looked like to a new lead family, so I sent it to myself. Glad I did because I found a few errors:

Email still has 2022-2023 National application cost ($80 w/ $25 joining fee) instead of the 2024-2025 National application cost ($85 w/ no joining fee).

Also, it lists a phone number for me (the cubmaster) that is not my phone number, not the previous cubmaster 2021-2023 phone number, and not our COR 2018-2026 phone number. Figured out it is our DE’s desk phone in the council office! The problem here is it list my name and his desk phone number. It should list his name with his mobile phone number (the one I call if I have problems). He works remote as the council office and his home office is 2 hours away from each other.
What it did correctly was list me as the unit leader along with my personal email and list our unit dues with an explanation why we charge it.
If #1 and #2 were fixed I would use this New Lead “Send Application” button feature. Unfortunately, there is already a lot of confusing stuff sent to new families, and I choose to send my own manual email with accurate info until this feature is fixed.
