Aloha,
I have a scout BSA # 135461023 who we linked years ago to one of our adult leaders because that adult leader didn’t have a scout in our pack so they weren’t getting certain emails. Anyways, this scout has moved on to a troop and we need to take the parent/guardian listed on his account who does not have same last name off of the scout account so he stops getting our troop emails. Could someone please help? Thank you!
Contact your council to break the bad parent/guardian connection. They have the ability to remove this connection.
Another option is to contact the leader that is incorrectly connected. By logging into Scoutbook, going to My Dashboard → My Account → My connections → Scout, the leader can delete the connection.
This is an example of why you never want to connect an individual as Parent/Guardian that is not the actual Parent/Guardian.

For the original issue of them receiving communications, you are able to include all registered leaders, whether they have a child in the unit or not.
