New Account Login Error Message

Just set up my Scouts Scoutbook account the other day and keep getting the Whoops! We encountered an error trying to process your request. Our webmaster has been notified and will fix it ASAP! message. Been happening for a few days. Please advise, fix, etc.

This is a known error.

There is a known issue that Scoutbook is timing out when many Scouts try to log in to Scoutbook. The developers are aware of the issue and are working on a solution.

Hi, Is there a workaround yet? It seems to have started as an issue a few weeks ago and now most of my youth leaders are not able to login. Thanks.

@BrianMcLaughlin there are a few potential solutions
A manual keyboard refresh During the login process (before the error) seems to work.
or from the error page entering Scoutbook they will be logged in
or going to advancements.scouting.org - then clicking the link to Scoutbook

But even if they manage to get logged in, most pages time out anyway.
