A major focus of the migration to Scoutbook Plus is to have positions mirror the positions shown in My.Scouting to ensure positions were reflected accurately in both platforms. The main purpose it to honor the guidance of our charter organizations and the positions they approve. Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions. Registered positions are used to provide base permissions. Some additional permissions can be added by the unit, however, there are restrictions on what can be given. See the updated Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video for more details.

One of my ASMs is looking to enter an activity but it is saying Not allowed even though on scoutbook plus I have set her permissions as Activity approver/creator/remover/editor.
Any thoughts on what is going on
@RajeshVenkatamaran- are they also a parent of a scout ? Might be the drop-down in the upper right is not on the asm role

By the way did you know that I cannot type just the id. It says that minimum number of characters should be 20.
@RajeshVenkatamaran- if you use the @ you can select the person to direct the post and get the character count
@RajeshVenkatamaran it has been a week since the user logged into SB+ - can they try again?
@DonovanMcNeil I believe the person logged in yesterday.
@RajeshVenkatamaran I am looking at the records - they logged into Legacy yesterday not SB+. There is basically no reason to log into Legacy other than payment logs and MBC work.
Thank you @DonovanMcNeil - let me check with the person. So if you need to enter activity I know SB directs you to SB+, would that not suffice or do you need the person to directly log into SB+
Either works - there is just no login to SB+. And no reason to even hit Legacy - might as well learn to go straight to SB+
Ok, the person did send me screenshot of SB+ where the activty was entered with the scouts and adults and when clicking on OK, it gave the error. It does not make sense that the log does not show SB+ since activities can only be entered on SB+, to my understanding.
Does that make sense or am I missing something
so they enter an event > click Save > get warning saying they do not have permission?
For T435?
Yes, enter an event, add personnel and then click on Save. That is when they get the error and yes for T435
Have them try again - and only add scouts from Grim Patrol as a test
@RajeshVenkatamaran this user needs to get on forums to discuss this further - the Developers logged in as them and had no issue.
@DonovanMcNeil looks like when the user tried to create the activity the person was able to enter it yesterday for all scouts. The problem looks to be resolved. Thank you for all the help and prompt response. Appreciate the effort.
