I saw an announcement that Scoutbook was adding position specific calendar editing permissions so scouts can post events in Scoutbook. When is that feature going to be available?
It has been available for sometime now. It went into place a few months ago, worked for a month, was broken for a month, is back for more than a month. All times are estimates based on my recollection.
The position is “calendar editor” or something similar. Add it as a leadership position.
We gave it to our scribe and SPL/ASPL as backups. They can edit the calendar and take attendance. When they edit the calendar, admins get an email letting us know. It works very well and really does move this to Scout led.
