Calendar Editor rights and viewing troop events on calendar

I have troop admin access and even though my son has the Calendar Editor role only for his patrol, he can still create events to the troop calendar and all patrol calendars, which does not seem right. Also, he can see troop events on his list of Upcoming Events, but they do not show up on his Calendar view. The kicker here is that he can create events on the troop calendar, but after he saves them, he can no longer see them. Only if I give him editor access to the troop can he troop events on his calendar.

So -

  1. Is his ability to create events on the Troop calendar without being granted Calendar Editor role for that calendar a bug?
  2. Shouldn’t he still be able to view troop events on his calendar view (and not just on his list of Upcoming Events), regardless of his Calendar Editor role, by virtue of his being a member of the troop?

Or is this the expected behavior for Scoutbook?

Thank you for posting this topic. I am a troop admin and struggling to provide access to other members in the troop for Calendar edit and management of various events. Curious to see the responses and suggestions
