We changed my son’s email address and need to update it.
So you have invited your son to Scoutbook? Then he can log in and change the email under his user
If he does not have an account at my.scouting, have him log in to Scoutbook and go to:
My Dashboard → Administration → My Account → Email
Once we were able to get the correct old email we got it updated. Now his Profile ID is the old email address. Is there any way to change that?
I think the only way to change that is for him to create an account at my.scouting, while being careful to link to his already existing BSA member number (and use the same name as his BSA registration).
I would recommend having a username that is not an e-mail address.
Adding on to what @JenniferOlinger wrote, make sure that all of the identifying information (full name, DOB, address, email address, etc) matches between what’s in Scoutbook and what’s at my.scouting to minimize the chances of creating a duplicate account/BSA ID.
