I added our new Lion den to Scoutbook Plus, assigning den leaders and scouts. Now the den doesn’t show up in Scoutbook Plus, and all our new Lions are missing from Scoutbook Plus. However, the den and scouts show up in the old Scoutbook.

@KatieBaird in SB+ - try holding Down the Shift Key and Refreshing the page
That did not work. I also tried ctrl+fn+F5.

That made them show up.
OK - it is a cache issue on your brower - you might need to clear the cache

IF the private window worked and you cleared cache - it might be some extension you are running like a ad blocker.

I am having the same issue with a new den not showing up. I cleared my cache and refreshed and it’s not coming back.

@NicoleHamler- have you tried an incognoto session

@NicoleHamler under your browser’s File Menu - Incognito or Private window should be an option
Ok, got it. Yes, the den appears using icognito
That means it is something on your computer - the cache needs to refresh - Google “Hard Refresh Browser” - Often it is just Hold SHIFT and Refresh the page
I’m yet another person seeing the exact same misbehavior (using Chrome). A few days ago, I noticed that my relatively new Lion den had gone missing in Scoutbook Plus. I did a shift+refresh and that didn’t help. I was able to get it to work with an incognito. Today, I see the same behavior – my Lion den is missing. Always using incognito isn’t a reasonable solution.
There is a Scoutbook Plus bug here and 3 of us have reported it. That means many more people are probably affected but don’t know how to report it.

@DonovanMcNeil, another bit of information – it’s not just the Lion Den that is missing. My scouts in that Den are missing in the roster as well.
@MatthewLongnecker - if you try another browser does the den and the scouts show up ?
It is very annoying as it seems to be cache so VERY difficult to reproduce
@Stephen_Hornak, the scouts show up in incognito (Chrome) and when I use an alternate browser (Edge)
@DonovanMcNeil, I understand that this is somehow cache related and thus difficult to repro. I sympathize with the development team!
I tried something else. Based on the instructions I found searching for “clear cache for site chrome”, I did the following
- I opened advancements.scouting.org
- hit F12 to open developer tools
- I right clicked on the refresh button
- I selected “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”
It didn’t help. I still don’t see my Lion Den or my two scouts in that Den (members 141669898 and 141641396).
