I recently accepted a new cub scout on MyScouting > Membership Manager > Application Manager > “accept”. How or when does this new scout populate on Scoutbook+ so I can add him to a Den?
@BRHartwell they should auto appear 24 hours later. If they have not what is the member # (no name) of the scout and what is the unit #?
I did the acceptance and got impatient. It has not been 24hrs. It’s been more like 3hrs. I will check back again tomorrow. Thank you sir!
@BRHartwell - I have had them show up the same day after 4:30pm.. We have the youth application set to auto accept.
I would caution the use of “Auto Accept”. I have had issues with this with families submitting digital application to my unit when they live 30+ minutes away and was trying to submit it for their local unit. Had to turn off Auto Accept to have a review check of their address so I can ensure their application was submitted correctly. If it wasn’t there are tools to transfer the application to the correct unit. You can do this after “auto accept” but it is more difficult.
@ThomasCline - I can appreciate that, but in our area of New Jersey it is less likely to happen.
