New parent can’t connect to account

I sent the parent connection email to a mom of a new scout. The email generated does not have a user ID and password for her, just a user ID and it tells her to follow the link for resetting her password. Doing that does not send her an email. Her BSA number is 137372534 and user ID is 12010395

I would recommend that the parent create an account at my.scouting and connect to her already existing BSA member number.
