New Registered Position management won't let Cubmaster assign den leader role to former den leader

In the new Registered Position manager (big improvement, btw), it appears that I, as Cubmaster, can add den leaders directly without COR intervention. That’s great! However, in trying to understand the new permissions system (and after some fiddling), my COR delegate and I ended up moving two of my Webelos den leaders into Committee Member in my.scouting.

Those two leaders now show in my Den Leader list as “Not Counted” with an expired term in Scoutbook+:

They also don’t have the typical Den Leader permissions in the manager.

I can assign others as Den Leader who are not on the list at all, but since they are listed, they appear as “Already Selected” in the drop-down, so even if I click Remove on these two in my Committee Members, I can’t select them as Den Leaders.

We’re working on fixing this in my.scouting and assuming it will sync to SB+, but it seems unintentional to not be able to assign lapsed den leaders as den leaders again, so I thought I’d report!

Do the expired terms reflect their registration expiration in the official roster at my.scouting? That’s a new error message to me.

No, it’s when they “changed” positions in the system, their registration is still current

Or rather, I guess, it’s not the exact date they changed but the end of the month before they changed? Anyway, their registration in Scouting is still current
