No longer have access to custom reports/Report Builder

Hello Support Team,

I am writing to request assistance with a permission issue in Scoutbook regarding Report Builder access for our troop.

I have used Scoutbook for years (having introduced it to our unit prior to its acquisition by Scouting America) and previously had full access to all features. However, since this past summer, any custom reports I build disappear as soon as I log out, and I can no longer access my saved historical reports.

Our small troop relies heavily on Report Builder to create advancement for scouts to work with scouts worksheets for weekly meetings, and having to recreate these reports from scratch every session is becoming unsustainable.

Potential Root Cause:
I serve primarily as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Treasurer. During our last recharter, I may have been assigned as a Committee Member to help satisfy our troop’s required committee count. I am unsure if this role change impacted my Scoutbook administrative permissions or Report Builder access.

Could you please look into my account permissions and help restore my ability to save and view reports in Report Builder?

@JDeMeritt this is a unit fix issue

Just as permissions are now limited - so is report access - https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/scoutbook/Report-Permission-Access.pdf

As ASM you do not have the same access to reports - the one step fix for most reports is having the Unit Support Role if the Key3 want to give that.

As a Key 3 Delegate I cannot fix it myself? Thanks.

@JDeMeritt you are not a K3D in T14. you were in 2025, but not now

This is my permissions this does not give me access? Unfortunately I am the one with the scout book knowledge and things have changed I want to make sure I can direct the Key3 that we’ll be updating my access correctly. Part of the problem is obviously I don’t have access to functionality that I used to so I can’t really interpret or suggest when I don’t even see the same screens or if it’s an editable screen. I found the PDF is there instructions for people to understand how to provide access?
