If I “optout” a leader in Scoutbook effective immediately does this remove that leader from our training stats on SYT and Trained Status? Our council will not end a membership for a leader who is no longer active so trying to figure out how to make our training reports accurate for our active leaders only.
I don’t believe training statistics are updated when a leader is opted out. Councils will not end memberships while the individual is still paid because of how Scouting America systems work.
Since the training reports are just links to my.scouting.org reports, questions on these reports need to be directed to your Council.
One thing you can do is move an adult leader to the position of Unit Scouter Reserve (or Unit College Scouter Reserve if under age 21). Then the only training would be SYT.
