How do I remove Scouts and Leaders from Internet Advancement and the My.Scouting roster? Not Scoutbook. I was able to remove them from Scoutbook.
my.scouting is the official roster @MichaelBenaitis - that roster is based on registrations and timing - talk to council
Currently there are only 2 ways a Scout or leader is removed from the official roster.
- Let their registration plus grace period (currently 3 months) expire.
- Transfer to a different unit.
So how do we remove a scouter with an expired YPT, who left BSA but still has a valid membership? It’s holding up recharter.
Talk to your Council.
We were successfully putting the person down as opt out. Does that not work since they have current membership? If opt out doesn’t clear the renewal error for the unit, talking with your council is the only solution as @DonovanMcNeil points out.
